- A Photo/Video Release Form:
- A certificate of civil liability for AY2025/2026 (scanned copy)
- Your Social Security Registration Certificate if you didn't provide it the previous year (scanned copy)
- A proof that you have paid the Contribution to Student and Campus Life - CVEC (except for students who enroll in a Professionalization Contract or in Continuing Education)
- Your ID card/proof of identity

For the students of the Faculty of Sports and Education Sciences:
- A medical certificate from your GP or a sports doctor to be filled out and signed: Download the certificate.- Choice of the sports specialty: To validate your registration in B1 STAPS and STAPS L.AS (SE and PPPE are not concerned), you must choose a sports specialty for the three years of the Bachelor's degree. This choice must be made using this questionnaire only.
- For the students of UFR Droit, Economie Gestion et AES (re-registration): Copies of previous year's transcripts of records (both sessions if necessary).

Tuition Fees
The fees indicated are those established by ministerial decree, for the Academic Year 2025/2026:
- Registration in Bachelor's degree: 178 EUR
- Registration in Master's degree: 254 EUR
- Registration in 3rd cycle: 397 EUR
For the AY2025-2026, non-EU students benefit from a partial exemption of tuition fees, in accordance with the resolution of UBO's Board of Directors dated 16 February 2023. They pay the same tuition fees as French and European students.
CVEC
This contribution aims at promoting the welcoming and social, health, cultural and sports support of students, and at reinforcing the preventive and health education actions carried out for them (Article L. 841-5 of the Education Code).
For AY2025-2026, the CVEC amounts to 105 EUR.
This contribution can be paid by credit card directly on the website http://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr, or in cash at any post office. Warning: You may download a proof of payment from the website http://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr right away. The contribution will be paid to the CROUS of your academy.
Continuing Education trainees and students in Professionalization Contracts are exempt from CVEC. The same applies to international exchange students who undertake a mobility period in France during the Academic Year as part of an agreement established between their home institution abroad and a higher education institution in France.
IMPORTANT: You must provide a proof that you have paid the CVEC when you register at your higher education institution even if you are exempt from this contribution.
Four types of students are exempt from the payment of this contribution:
- Scholarship students or beneficiaries of an annual allowance granted in the framework of special aids,
- Refugee students,
- Students benefiting from subsidiary protection,
- Students being registered as asylum seekers with the right to remain in the territory.
CANCELLATION OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE REGISTRATION
At Bachelor-, Master- or Doctorate-levels
No cancellation is possible after November 30th of the Academic Year.
Before November 30th, an administrative registration can be cancelled and a refund of tuition fees may be requested (conditions apply).
If this request occurs before the start of the Academic Year, the refund will be done by right, subject to the deduction of 23 EUR for management acts.
If this request occurs after the start of the Academic Year and before November 30th, the refund will be done under the conditions specified below, and upon decision of the President/Rector of the University, subject to the deduction of 23 EUR for management acts.
Conditions:
- Transfer to another higher education institution and payment of tuition fees at the other institution,
- Medical reasons,
- Refused visa,
- Other reason(s) with justification.
TUITION FEE EXEMPTION
Since the Decree of 5 January 1984, only students who are beneficiaries of a teaching grant provided by the State and Wards of the Nation are automatically exempt from paying tuition fees.
All other categories of students wishing to be exempt must make an individual request by retrieving the form from their Faculty secretariat and returning it according to the schedule below:
- Before mid-October for a committee meeting before December
- Before mid-December for a committee meeting in January
The Board of Directors approved a certain number of criteria making it possible to exempt students who meet them from paying the fees. An Exemption Commission is responsible for studying the requests.
