📄Abstract

The accuracy of quantitative and qualitative analysis of natural products depends on several critical factors, starting with the selection of appropriate extraction, purification, and chromatographic processes. To this end, analysts require both theoretical knowledge and technical expertise.
The aim of this programme is to train students in every stage of biomolecule analysis, from extraction and purification through to chromatography and identification via mass spectrometry.
This programme emphasizes a hands-on approach; the on-site week is dedicated to practical laboratory work, where students will have the opportunity to operate the equipment independently. The theoretical foundations required for these sessions will be covered during prior videoconference modules.
