This short review aims at describing the very last works and concepts emerging in the field of supramolecular electrochemistry. It embraces the assembly of supramolecular systems at a molecular level and in materials, which can be controlled by electrochemical input and potentially coupled to spectroscopic/magnetic properties. The review also focusses on the last developments toward electrochemical-based functional devices in the fields of sensing, electrocatalysis, electronic displays, chiroptics and batteries.
