Wild Life at Terre Cabade Cemetery

Du au
Cimetière de Kerfautras
vie sauvage

The series of photographs presented by the photographer Guillaume Rivière is the result of repeated immersions in the Terre-Cabade cemetery in Toulouse, accompanied by the botanist Boris Presseq. These images required several nocturnal wanderings through the maze of almost 33 hectares of this Toulouse cemetery, highlighting the biodiversity and the birth of a true garden in the heart of the Pink City. The cessation of phytosanitary products in 2017 has indeed considerably modified the ecosystem and transformed this place into a green lung.

The exhibition is proposed by the Museum of Toulouse in collaboration with the Terre-Cabade cemetery of Toulouse and the participation of the botanist Boris Presseq.

It is presented in Brest at the Kerfautras Cemetery with the support of the City services.
